Information we collect and what we do with it

Here at Passport Studios we offer a personal service; however, we also offer several services that require little or no personal information to be provided. In order to access our entire range of services the following types of information may be required.

• Information willingly given – When you use our services you are required to submit to a registration process. Within this process you will be asked for name, address and an account password. When you give us this information you are welcome to opt out from certain services where Passport Studios combines this information with other Passport Studios services or third parties. This is done to provide you with the best experience while you are with us.
• Cookies – Passport Studios uses cookies to detect automatic logins and trends that the user types into the text areas. You can remove these cookies in your browser options; this will limit the experience that you have with us.
• User Communications – When you send an email or other to Passport Studios we retain the email address and/or other identification objects. This helps us process inquiries; send out information regarding our services to improve the quality of assistance that you experience from Passport Studios.
• Affiliated Sites – Passport Studios does not collect any information from affiliated sites where we offer our services. These sites have their own privacy policy and we encourage you to read it.
• Other Sites – Passport Studios does not extend power over other websites on the World Wide Web. As a result these websites may retain different information than Passport Studios; we encourage you to thoroughly read their privacy policy.

Passport Studios will only retain information for the above and following purposes. The following purposes detail but are not limited to:

• Providing a customized service to our members;
• Research and analysis of our services;
• Ensuring the functional ability of our services;
• Developing new and interesting features.

Passport Studios may store and process this information on a server outside the borders of your country. We may process personal information to further provide our own services or at the instruction of an authorized third party service.

Choices of personal information

When you sign up for a service provided by Passport Studios that requires registration or personal information to be collected (such as a support email) we ask that you provide us with certain personal information. If this personal information is to be used for anything other than the list detailed above then we will ask for consent prior to such use.

If the use of your personal information is specifically changed (outside of this Privacy Policy and/or Privacy notices) for one certain service, you have the ability to effectively opt out of this service. You can decline for any reason to provide Passport Studios with any personal information in any form; in this case, Passport Studios may not be able to provide these services to you.

Information sharing

Passport Studios retains all information collected from our customers. Passport Studios may or may not be required to share this information with companies or individuals only under the following limitation circumstances:

• We have your consent; Passport Studios requires opt-in consent to share personal information.
• We provide this information to companies and subsidiaries of Passport Studios to process on the behalf of Passport Studios. These parties must agree to process the information under Passport Studios’ strict instructional guidance with accordance to this Privacy Policy.
• We have strong belief and faith that access and use of this information is necessary to (a) satisfy any legal, regulation or government enforced application; (b) compliance of Passport Studios Terms of Service of any violation thereof; (c) detect, prevent or therefore assess fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to protect against the possible harm of the rights, property or safety of Passport Studios, it’s users or the general public as permitted by law.

If Passport Studios is to become a merger, acquisition, hostile take over or any other form of dismantlement of all assets, we will provide sufficient notification that your personal information will be transferred, and therefore, subject to a different privacy policy.

Passport Studios may share non personal information with other third party entities. Such as how many individual sales we have made, or how many users have purchased a specific product from us. These forms of information do not identify you individually.

Information security

Passport Studios takes very strict and necessary security measures to ensure that your personal information is kept secure from unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration. The destruction of our database is taken seriously and we do all necessary processes to prevent this from happening.
These measures include:

• The internal security of our systems to maintain their running and stability.
• Security from cyber attacks including strong firewall systems.
• Soft and Hard recordings of all information collected from our users.
• Physical protection of the information storage areas from unauthorized access.

The internal sharing of personal information within the Passport Studios’ design and development team is severely limited to a ‘must know’ basis. This involved the employee knowing only as much to allow continual and economical continuation of project development. These individuals are bound to confidentiality agreements of the strongest terms. These employees are subject to discipline, termination or criminal charges in a court of law, if they fail to meet these obligations of the confidentiality contracts.

Data integrity

Our accuracy depends entirely upon the user. We take all steps necessary to make sure that these fields are filled in accurately by the user. We maintain security checks and Soft and Hard recordings of all our information are checked regularly to maintain our high standards of accuracy when providing our customers with our services.

Accessing and updating person information

Passport Studios takes all steps that are reasonable and within our power to allow you access to your personal information. If you incorrectly fill in a data field then you have the ability to correct the mistake or to delete this information at your request, however; the request may be denied unless for legitimate business purposes or to satisfy a law or government request.

Passport Studios has the right to decline any process requested if it is extremely systematic or irrational, repetitive, require obscene technical support, can jeopardize the safety and security of others, or is extremely impractical (as in removing data from back up discs), or which is otherwise un-required of the user and irrational request.

In all cases that Passport Studios allows for correction or deletion of personal information we provide this service free of charge, unless, the process requires obscene amounts of technical support or disproportionate effort by Passport Studios’ staff.

Enforcement of this policy

Passport Studios’ often reviews its compliance with this legal document to maintain our high standards of user privacy. When Passport Studios’ receives a formal complaint about the Privacy Policy or transferral of personal information, it is taken with utmost seriousness.
